I AM WHO I AM

The grain of sand upon the shore,

The protostar in Your galaxy -

And me, made in Your image,

Each of us: a portrait of

Your Love.

From dust to a breathing soul,

From nothing to a burning star -

From corrosion to a grain so old,

Each of us: a statement of

 *Your Love.*

“I am Yahweh: I AM WHO I AM.”

I will be your God - *your Higher Power.*

Inspiration upon reading Moses’ conversation with the LORD, in the biblical text Exodus 3:14-15; I tried to envisage the creation of ‘being’ from the smallest matter. Note: The word “God” derives from Germanic origins (6th century CE), while the Torah used Hebrew terms such as “Elohim” and “YHWH” (the Tetragrammaton). “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh” - ‘I AM WHO I AM’ conveys God’s self-revealed identity as being, presence, and eternal power.
