If you be Light when all around is dark

And be, shining when some-one calls,

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be Light shining in our darkness

Rather than let darkness hold you down,

Life and Vision will be born, to one and all.

If you be burning, like the humble candle

For those upon the throne or corner store

Not extinguished by Fear and Doubt,

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be brave like heroes of our past

And keep your whit and brawn in check

People will be kind and true for one and all.

If you be Light not just for family history,

Repeating the good clan or tribe did do

And not flicker out by life’s cruel breath,

You’ll be blessed my son, by one and all.

If you be Light to each and every-one

Swift and strong in this enlightened age

You’ll be blessed my son with one and all.

If you be a candle’s light, never seen before

Living sensibly, being that helpful light

Not dimming down among our wars

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be wise for king and country

With prestige and pride in your stride

You’ll be blessed my son, so will one and all.

If we be Lights shining o’er our country

Because the future, needs our shining lights

Between the skyscraper and the like

We’ll be blessed by one and all.

Mankind thinks he is the Light,

When really we are shadows of Eternal Light

Speaking . . . . . . . . . “Let there be light”!!!
