……….If you be Light

If you be Light when all around is dark

And be, shining when some-one calls,

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be Light shining in the darkness

Rather than let darkness hold you down,

Life and Vision will be born, to one and all.

Be they upon the throne or at the corner store

If you be burning like the humble candle

Not extinguished by Fear and Doubt

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be brave like heroes of our past

And keep your whit and brawn in check

People will stay kind and true for one and all

And not flicker out by life’s cruel breath.

If you be Light and not just family history,

Repeating what clan or tribe you be

You’ll be blessed my son, by one and all.

If you be Light to each and every-one

Swift and strong in this enlightened age

You’ll be blessed my son with one and all

Living sensibly; being that helpful light

If you be a candle’s light never seen before

Not dimming down amongst our wars

You’ll be blessed my son by one and all.

If you be wise for king and country

With prestige and pride in your stride

You’ll be blessed my son, so will one and all

Because the future, needs our shining lights

If we be Lights shining o’er our country

Between the skyscraper and the like

We’ll be blessed by one and all.

Mankind thinks he is the Light,

When really we are shadows of the Eternal Light

Speaking . . . . . . . . . “Light let it Be”!!!
