I made my vote today, Election of members And a party to lead I trust you did the same. I made my vote today, For a 3 year term Some wanted 4 I trust you did the same. I made my vote today, Party leader, prime minister Voting can be tricky I trust you did the same. I made my vote today, Tax relief, Covid control Minimum wage and dole, I trust you did the same. I made my vote today, MMP* at 5% gets you in Some roll, others stay I trust you did the same. I made my vote today, 120 seats; 61 to govern. Seat sharing to win, I trust you did the same. Voting at an election is A privilege, given NZ Is primly a gem and Democracy is a wink ‘n’ a grin! I trust you did the same.
